Square Peg Ranch Cabin
The Square Peg Cabin offers full kitchen facilities and a fireplace. The master bedroom downstairs has a queen size bed and there are two full size beds in the loft upstairs. Available Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend. Reservation for this cabin is by special request only; Occupancy up to 6 people, $140 + tax a night; 4 nights minimum! Discount for 7 plus nights. This is the only cabin where Pets are allowed for an additional fee and by special request only.
Goat Chalet
It is called the goat chalet because, as the story goes, John used to house a couple of goats in there at one point, but today it is my most favored rental cabin at the hostel. It has a queen bed, a potbelly stove for heat and a small table with two chairs. $100 + tax a night, occupancy 1-2 people. 4 and more nights $80 + tax a night.
Klondike Kate’s Koffeehouse
Klondike Kate’s has a queen bed and a full futon couch; a table with two chairs. Bring sleeping bag, no heater in cabin. $100 + tax a night for two, occupancy 2-4 people (add $40 for each extra person). Discount for 4 plus nights.
Private Room
Formerly known as the family room.This private room upstairs in the hostel has two full size beds. Plenty of room for a couple, two individuals or a small family! $100 + tax a night for two, occupancy 2-4 people (add $40 for each additional person). Discount for 4 plus nights
Green Zucchini
One small little gem for the financially challenged is the “green zucchini” or commonly called pickle. A homemade trailer from the ’50s that barely survived the ’95 flood, has drafty windows, no heat and a bed just barely big enough for two, bring sleeping bags. It has been my home for many summers during my early years and it still enamors the occasional visitor. $100 + tax a night, occupancy 1-2 people. 4 and more nights $80 + tax a night.
Mixed Dorm
Accommodation include 3 mixed dormitory rooms, one with four bunks downstairs, a bunk-room upstairs with six beds and five more twin beds in the upstairs alcove. $40 a night per person. 4 and more nights $30 per person.
Camping
You set up your own tent in the yard and enjoy all the hostel’s facilities and amenities.
$30 + tax per night per person. Hiker/Biker discount by request only.
Tipi
For a little more plush camping we have a tipi available that has a double bed. A small fire is possible in the solostove if we’re not in the middle of fire season. Bring your own wood if you like to have a small fire! Only available in July and August. $100 + tax and by special request.
Sheets and Towels
are normally not provided but are available (Ask for help) for a small charge (towel or sheets are $7 each per person); Always use bedding or sleeping bags!

Reservations can be made online only. If you leave me a phone or email message please allow extra time. The online reservation system is the most up-to-date information. Reservations are required. For reservations a Credit Card is required, the North Fork Hostel accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
Terms and Cancellation Policy
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required on all reservations. The remainder is due before arrival, we accept cash or cards or mobile payments.
You can cancel your reservation at any time but will loose your deposit. No shows loose their entire reservation.
Directions:
The North Fork Hostel & Inn is located on the western edge of Glacier National Park, 1/4 mile (1/2 kilometer) southeast of the Polebridge Mercantile at the end of Beaver Drive (follow the signs). Taking Camas Creek Road through Glacier Park avoids a rough section of the North Fork Road. The North Fork Road north from Columbia Falls to Polebridge is route 486, a gravel road with sections of pavement. Try to arrive during daytime to appreciate the views and to locate the North Fork Hostel & Inn easily.
The Square Peg Ranch is about 500 yards north of the Polebridge intersections on the left side.
